There is also a chance that students may miss out on the opportunity to study medicine because there are too few places available. Medicine is arguably the longest and most difficult of all subjects to study. Medical courses in UK universities are often referred to as `<\/span>the MBChB is the same as the MBBS and takes around 5 to 6 years to complete.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Despite the impact of the epidemic, the number of students admitted to medical schools has increased, so the UK government has limited the number of students admitted. The number of international students in 2022 will be set at 456, and the total number of local students in the UK will be 8313. Because of the low pass rate of medical disciplines, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority intends to exempt medical students who have graduated and wish to return to Hong Kong to practice medicine from the following British universities accredited by the Medical Council of Singapore.<\/span><\/p>

      The BMAT takes 2 hours and is designed to test students' thinking skills, ability to apply scientific knowledge, and communication skills.<\/span><\/p>

      The BMAT is used to assist candidates in the selection of medical and health-related degree programs. Each applicant is only allowed to take the BMAT once during the admissions cycle, and taking the exam twice may be seen by the University as an attempt to gain an unfair advantage.<\/span><\/p>

        The exam will be divided into five sections: Verbal Reasoning Decision, Making Quantitative, Reasoning Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement. The purpose of this exam is to test whether the student has the appropriate mental ability, attitude, and professional behavior to become a doctor.
